TARA CORWINE
In October of 1999, my husband, Saul, and I spent our honeymoon at my family’s vacation home on Beech Mountain.  Of course, it was a special time, but during our stay, we decided we would love to be able to raise our future children in this area.   In April of 2002, we packed up our belongings and our new baby girl, Grace, and headed for the mountains.  My parents and younger brother and sister had moved here a few months before.  We just knew it was the right thing to do. 

I got my North Carolina Real Estate license in 2003 and worked for an established agency here in the High Country until the birth of our second daughter, Maya, in December of 2005.  My mother and I have now started this company so we can work together and the “family” aspect of the business gives me the ability to take my children to the office when necessary.

I look forward to working with residents of the High Country and those wishing to own their own piece of these beautiful mountains.

My family moved to Beech Mountain in late 2001.  We had been visiting this area for over 20 years on vacation and had purchased a vacation home on Beech in the late 90s.  A bank buyout of my husband’s bank in Florida necessitate a move so we made the decision to relocate to North Carolina.  We had always planned to retire here so this just made the move sooner than expected.  Our two youngest children, Megan and Brandon, entered Watauga High School from which they graduated in 2005.

I received my real estate license in late 2001 and established Beech Party Properties which specialized in vacation rental properties and property management.  The vacation rental business is quite challenging and interesting and we found it can lead to our customers and clients needing additional real estate services.  My daughter, Tara, and I decided to work together and develop a full service real estate office which would include sales as well as the rental/property management side.  We formed Foxfire Properties & Rentals which will service all of the High Country from our new location at 9649 Hwy 105, Suite #3 in the Foscoe area.
